Description
Automatic X / Y trimmer with rotating blades to cut sheet rolls. Significant time savings in repetitive cutting tasks requiring labor time. Cut many media such as: photo paper, vinyl, laminated media, encapsulated paper with hot film up to 250μ per side, lightweight PVC tarpaulins, polyester films, polycarbonate and others. The blades for the cross section are manually positioned with reference to the visual to be cut. The longitudinal section is programmed from the control panel and can be done in 3 modes.
KalaXY is equipped with the same self-locking pin as used on Kala laminators 65 ” wide. The roll of laminated prints can be taken directly from the laminator and used on the trimmer. The standard KalaXY model comes with 3 transverse blade blocks (2 single blades for the sides and one central double blade). Double center blade blocks are available as an option.
